Thank you for choosing PipeWrench Plumbing. These Terms of Service explain how we operate, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you when you schedule a plumbing service through our website, over the phone, or in person.

By using our services, requesting an estimate, submitting a contact form, or booking an appointment, you agree to the following terms.

1. Who We Are

PipeWrench Plumbing is a locally owned and operated plumbing company based in Oregon. We proudly serve the Portland metro area including Beaverton, Tigard, Lake Oswego, West Linn, Clackamas, Sherwood, Hillsboro, Wilsonville, Gresham, Oregon City, Milwaukie, Happy Valley, and surrounding cities.

We are a fully licensed, bonded, and insured Oregon contractor. Our Oregon CCB license number is 254530.

2. Scope of Services

We provide the following services:

  • General Plumbing Repairs
  • Drain Cleaning and Clog Removal
  • Leak Detection and Pipe Replacement
  • Water Heater Installation and Repair (Tank and Tankless)
  • Fixture and Faucet Replacement
  • Bathroom and Kitchen Remodel Plumbing
  • Sewer Line Services
  • Gas Line Installation and Repair
  • Emergency Plumbing Services

All work is performed by licensed journeymen plumbers and certified apprentices under Oregon state law.

3. Appointments and Scheduling

Appointments can be scheduled by phone, through our website, or by speaking directly with a PipeWrench representative. We offer flexible scheduling for standard services and emergency calls, and do our best to arrive within the scheduled window.

While we strive to be on time, delays can happen due to road closures, severe weather, or high emergency call volume. If we are delayed, we will contact you promptly with updated arrival information.

For remodels, repipes, or large plumbing jobs, we may need to schedule an initial inspection or consultation before work begins. Some projects also require advance permitting through your local building department. We will guide you through that process.

4. Estimates and Pricing

We offer upfront pricing for most services. Estimates are based on standard industry rates, local codes, and your home’s conditions.

Estimates are not final until a licensed plumber evaluates the actual scope of work in person. If changes are needed, we will explain all options and get your approval before proceeding.

Some projects may require additional materials or labor not known at the time of the estimate.

5. Payments

Payment is due upon completion of service unless prior arrangements are made in writing. We accept:

  • Cash
  • Credit and debit cards
  • Approved checks
  • Bank transfers (for larger jobs)

A deposit may be required for large projects, custom orders, or remodels. Final invoices must be paid within the time stated or additional charges may apply.

Unpaid balances may be sent to collections.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand that things come up. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance.

Last-minute cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a service fee to cover our time and travel costs.

For remodels or custom work, deposits are non-refundable once materials have been ordered or work has started.

7. Warranties

We stand behind our work with a strong commitment to quality and long-term satisfaction.

Product warranties are honored based on manufacturer coverage. Examples include:

  • Uponor 25-year warranty applies to Uponor AquaPEX® tubing and ProPEX® fittings when used together.
  • Uponor 30-year warranty applies to Uponor hePEX™ tubing and other specific Uponor products like AquaPEX® and MLC tubing when used with Uponor fittings.
  • Bradford White water heaters: 6-year tank and parts warranty (extended warranties may be available upon request).
  • A.O. Smith water heaters: 6 to 10 years depending on model.

Please retain your original invoice for warranty claims. Manufacturer warranties require proper registration and may exclude damage from sediment buildup, hard water, neglect, or power surges.

Improper usage, unauthorized modifications, and customer-performed work that affects the original installation voids both labor and product warranties.

PipeWrench Plumbing is not liable for damage caused by unrelated plumbing issues, acts of nature, or items beyond our control.

8. Code Compliance

PipeWrench Plumbing complies with all Oregon Building Codes, including the Oregon Plumbing Specialty Code and any local amendments required by the city or county in which work is performed.

We obtain all required plumbing permits for code-related work, including repipes, remodels, water heater replacements, and new construction. Permits may involve inspections from your local building department, which we will help coordinate.

All installations are performed to current code standards for safety, efficiency, and compliance. If existing plumbing is out of code or unsafe, we will recommend solutions and provide pricing for correction before proceeding.

Failure to correct known violations may result in denied inspections or voided warranties.

9. Limitations of Service

While we do everything possible to deliver fast, reliable service, there are some limitations:

  • We are not responsible for damage caused by existing faulty plumbing or materials not installed by us.
  • We do not perform services outside of our licensing scope, including major electrical, roofing, or structural repairs.
  • We cannot guarantee the performance of fixtures or appliances not purchased or installed by PipeWrench Plumbing.
  • Access to certain areas (such as crawl spaces or attics) must be clear, dry, and safe for our technicians. If access is obstructed or unsafe, additional service charges may apply or service may be rescheduled.

We also reserve the right to refuse service in situations that pose a safety hazard to our team or the public.

10. Customer Responsibilities

To help us serve you efficiently, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your property and plumbing needs
  • Clear access to work areas and shut-off valves
  • Secure pets and children during the service
  • Notify us of any concerns before or during the work
  • Make full payment as agreed

If you have special needs or accessibility issues, please let us know in advance.

11. Photography and Job Documentation

We may take photos of plumbing work for our records, warranty claims, training, or marketing. These will never include personal or sensitive information and are never used to identify you without permission.

PipeWrench Plumbing is not responsible for:

  • Property damage caused by unknown plumbing failures
  • Health risks due to sewage exposure, mold, or water damage
  • Damage caused by customer-installed fixtures or DIY repairs
